Synthetic Top Making

Bulmer and Lumb is a converter of mainly polyester and polyamide fibres (tow and staple) and a producer of ecru blends in wool and synthetic of all types.

We process certain synthetic fibres suitable for worsted spinning in both ecru and colours. Tops are manufactured in blends with natural fibres for the production of weaving, upholstery, hand and machine knitting yarns.

Included in our top making section is a dedicated line for carding and scouring synthetic fibres used in the production of high performance filters and medical mask applications.

Commission processing is also available throughout our top-making section.
