HF Hartley is a technical specialist manufacturer of uniform and corporate wear in worsted and worsted blend fabrics made to customer specifications and offering a wide range of finishes including treatments to ensure that fabrics are crease resistant, flame retardant water resistant and stain proofed.


As suppliers to the Ministry of Defence, Government agencies, police and emergency services both in the UK and overseas, fabrics are manufactured to the highest quality standards and HF Hartley operate quality management policies under BS EN ISO 19011-2002.

Fabrics are designed to be durable as well as being comfortable to wear and traditional skills in colour matching ensure that exact colour matches can be repeated time after time. Manufacturing quality fabrics at competitive prices is achieved by using the very latest air-jet technology operated by a dedicated and skilled workforce.


In addition to the fabrics supplied to Government Departments, HF Hartley supply fabric through the garment manufacturers to banks and building societies, airlines, postal authorities and major independent bus and rail authorities throughout the UK and overseas.


Corporate wear offers a design service to match colour pallets supplied by customers and to colour co-ordinate a complete wardrobe for the corporate-wear user.
