Fibres
Bulmer & Lumb process a range of natural & synthetic fibres, to supply our customers with either tops or yarn, suitable for craft, office to automotive/ aviation upholstery fabrics, knitwear or traditional fine worsted fabrics.
From the range of fibres we process we can provide this service on a commission basis or create a product from our own raw material sources. We work closely with our suppliers, so that they are able to provide us with the highest quality materials, and use a variety of wool types, mainly from Australia, South Africa & South America. We are also keen to forge alliances with customers demanding particular fibre combinations on an exclusive basis.
Our Synthetic Topmaking department gives us the facility to process a range of carded fibres to create a high quality product for use in non woven & technological applications.
